Poppy Lodge is set in the small village of Flitcham in Norfolk. It sits within a conservation area, 7 miles east of King’s Lynn and along with the neighbouring villages of Anmer, West Newton, Wolferton and Shernborne is part of the Sandringham Estate and many of the attractive carrstone cottages are still in the ownership of the Royal Estate.
There are some great local organic food producers, farm shops and markets in the area. If you’re a bird watcher, there’s a local nature reserve with a bird watching hide, there are stately homes and museums, a sea life sanctuary and local beaches to enjoy.
From the hall the staircase leads upstairs to four bedrooms which sleep a maximum of six people. All bedrooms have lovely views over the garden.
The master bedroom has a king-sized bed which is situated next door to a bathroom with bath and shower over. There is a second bedroom which has a king size bed and two further small bedrooms that have single beds. There is a family bathroom with separate bath and walk in shower.
Dog owners are welcome to bring one well-mannered, well-behaved dog to this holiday home.
